Perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing equipment

Dodecafluoro-2-methylpentane-3-one (Dodecafluoro-2-methylpen -- tan -- 3 -- one) is a new substitute fire extinguishing agent for halon. The chemical formula is CF3CF: COCF(CF3) :, and the ASHRAE code is FK -- 5 -- 1 -- 12, also referred to as perfluorohexanone. Perfluorohexanone was first developed by 3M company and gradually introduced to the market in recent years. Its product name is Novecl230. Perfluorophenone is a degradable substance with short atmospheric retention time, zero ozone depletion potential value (0DP), and only 1 global greenhouse effect value (GWP). It will not damage the atmospheric environment, and has the characteristics of low toxicity, easy storage and no residue after fire extinguishing. It is a clean chemical fire extinguishing agent in a real sense. At present, it has been promoted and used in the United States, Canada and Europe.
